Service Parts Associate
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision.
We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our Distribution business in (Farmington, NM).
Will make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting walk-in customers and responding to parts inquiries over the phone and email.
- Identify, source, and process parts orders using catalogs, systems, and other available resources.
- Receive, stock, pick, pack, and ship parts while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Process customer transactions, including cash, credit card, and account sales.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure all parts-related paperwork is completed accurately.
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
- Support customers and technicians by locating parts and providing timely solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter and warehouse environment.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and source parts using electronic catalogs and inventory systems.
- Experience processing orders, inventory transactions, and customer payments.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory control practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and resolve customer concerns in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
