Service Technician
Description of the role
Beaverhead Motors is actively seeking a highly skilled A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for an experienced, top-performing technician with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently on complex repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work on vehicles.
- Accurately complete work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Test-drive vehicles to confirm diagnoses and verify repairs.
- Work on major systems: engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, etc.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines.
- Perform warranty work in compliance with manufacturer requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician (A-Level preferred)
- ASE Certification required
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in your work
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
