Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.

Inspect and test-drive vehicles to ensure vehicles run smoothly and safely.

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Communicate directly with Service Advisors and all necessary parties to ensure that customers receive exceptional service.

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems and components.

Complete required factory and dealership training.

Install equipment as specified by the customer or company.

Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed.

Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economic manner.

Maintain a professional and clean workspace.

Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardized the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.

B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.

Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
