Service Technician - Cinnamon Tree Albuquerque

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team at a residential community in Albuquerque. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-kept living environment by completing maintenance requests, supporting preventative upkeep, and responding promptly to resident needs. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, communicates professionally, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on apartment homes, common areas, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help ensure safe and efficient property operations
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, cleaning support, and turnover work
• Inspect the property regularly and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and outstanding issues
• Work with team members and supervisors to support smooth daily operations
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations at all times
• Provide courteous, solution-oriented service to residents, vendors, and coworkers

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, repair, or service technician experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for work orders and documentation
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physically active work as needed
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on operational needs
