Service Engineer (Multi-Function Copier / Printer)

Job Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Multi-Function Printers (MFPs), laser printers, copiers, and related IT equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install and configure printer drivers, scan-to-folder, network printing, and related applications.
• Conduct user training on the operation and basic maintenance of printers and MFPs.
• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of machines in the warehouse.
• Assist with the delivery of equipment, spare parts, and consumables as required.
• Complete service reports and ensure timely follow-up on customer service requests.
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service while maintaining high service standards.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid Class 2B/2A or Class 3 driving licence and own motorcycle or car for travelling to customer sites.
• Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

• At least 3 years of experience servicing Konica Minolta, Lexmark, Xerox, or other office printers and copiers.
• Knowledge of printer driver installation, network printing, and scan-to-folder configuration.
• Experience in conducting end-user training.
• Experience supervising or mentoring a service team.
