Service Technician [Entry Level] - WCAN
Summary
Entry-level technician performs marine and industrial equipment inspections, repairs, and deliveries, with travel as needed, while coordinating service teams and maintaining inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, overhauls, repairs, and equipment deliveries in marine and industrial environments, with flexibility to travel at short notice.
- Prepare detailed service and site visit reports.
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory.
- Plan and schedule service assignments to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate service teams and daily operational activities.
- Liaise with customers to provide technical support and service updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum ITE, Diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Maritime or a related discipline.
- Experience in the marine industry, particularly with diesel engines, gearboxes, and generators, is preferred.
- Familiarity with scheduling service jobs and coordinating service teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
