What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician at Green Air, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems while providing exceptional customer service. You’ll ensure timely, accurate work that meets safety standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues
- Quote system replacements and repair costs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and tools
- Record labor, parts, and work orders electronically
- Assist in training helpers/apprentices
- Communicate effectively with customers and office staff
- Collect payments and submit to Accounts Receivable
- Order correct parts and materials for jobs
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional out-of-town work
- Ensure accurate timecard keeping and compliance with safety procedures
What You Bring
- Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school preferred; Universal CFC card; CPR/First Aid
- Experience: HVAC maintenance and repair; commercial refrigeration a plus
- Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic work order systems
Physical & Work Conditions
- Lift/move up to 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in varying weather conditions
- Work in hazardous conditions including electrical current and high places
- Ability to operate in open work areas with moderate noise
