Service Technician/HGV Driver (Waste Systems Sector)

Overview: Our client is seeking a reliable and dependable individual to join their team as a Service Technician/HGV Driver in Barbados. The successful candidate will assist with daily service operations, vehicle operation and related duties while delivering a high standard of customer service. Full training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy goods vehicles in the delivery of waste management services.
  
• Assist with the collection, removal and disposal of waste materials.
  
• Carry out assigned service duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  
• Handle and lift medium to heavy materials as required.
  
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  

• Valid HGV license (essential).
  
• Good customer service and communication skills.
  
• Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy weights.
  
• Reliable, responsible and hardworking.
  
• Willingness to learn and undertake full training.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
