Service Technician I
- Inspections and Diagnostics: Perform routine inspections of equipment, checking for worn parts, leaks, and other issues. You'll assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostic tasks using both traditional tools and computerized equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance, which includes changing fluids (oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid), replacing filters, and lubricating components. This is a fundamental part of the job to prevent breakdowns.
- Repairs: Assist with minor repairs and part replacements. This can involve working on hydraulic systems, brakes, engines, and electrical systems. You'll often be tasked with disassembling and reassembling components.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes on work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
· Must have immediate knowledge of wire and stick welding
· Must be able to use cutting torches
· Install and repair various equipment and components
· Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
· Evaluate weld quality and tolerance
· Must be able to use and read measuring devices including but not limited to square, levels and tape measures
· Must possess basic math skills including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication and division for the purpose of calculating material fabrication
· Ability to weld and repair vehicles/equipment
· Other duties as assigned by management
