We’re seeking an experienced Service Technician III to diagnose and repair complex diesel truck systems, including engines, aftertreatment, electrical, and driveline components. This advanced technician role requires strong troubleshooting skills, independent judgment, and the ability to perform complex repairs with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair complex engine performance, aftertreatment (DPF, SCR/DEF, EGR), and electrical system issues
- Troubleshoot multiplexed electrical systems on Freightliner and Western Star models
- Perform in-frame engine repairs, transmission and clutch replacements, and driveline work
- Resolve intermittent and repeat problems using DiagnosticLink, INSITE, and OEM service information
- Complete warranty repairs to DTNA standards with detailed, accurate repair stories
- Share technical knowledge by guiding Tech I and Tech II technicians on the shop floor
