Service Technician (Lifting Equipment)
Summary
Service Technician inspects, repairs, and maintains hydraulic lifting equipment like lorry cranes and hooklifts, traveling to customer sites for scheduled and emergency work.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, service and repair lifting equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical problems.
- Replace damaged or worn parts.
- Carry out routine maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure it operates safely.
- Assist with installing lifting equipment onto trucks.
- Install hydraulic hoses, pipes and fittings.
- Perform basic fitting, drilling and assembly work.
- Attend customer sites for servicing and emergency breakdowns.
- Complete service reports after each job.
- Follow safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
- Keep the workshop clean and take proper care of tools and equipment.
Requirements
- ITE, NITEC or equivalent technical qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience servicing hydraulic lifting equipment.
- Experience with lorry cranes, hooklifts, tailgates or waste systems is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence; Class 4 is an advantage.
- Willing to travel to customer sites and attend breakdown calls, including after working hours when assigned.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Saturday: 8.00am to 12.00pm
- One-hour lunch break
