Service Technician (Marine Industry)

We are looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our regional Service Team.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide technical support across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region for marine and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, customer interaction, and regional travel.

Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of marine and industrial equipment.
  • Carry out equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site servicing.
  • Prepare accurate service reports and technical documentation after each assignment.
  • Coordinate service schedules and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Support warehouse operations, inventory management, and maintenance of service tools and equipment.
  • Provide professional technical support and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Travel within Singapore and overseas for service assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • ITE, Diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with marine equipment, diesel engines, gearboxes, generators, or rotating equipment is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply. Structured on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and in both workshop and on-site environments.
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Manual Driving Licence.
  • Willing to travel overseas on short notice when required.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
