Service Technician

Summary

On-site technician servicing, calibrating, and repairing process-analytical instruments like sensors and analyzers in industries such as pharmaceuticals and microelectronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and troubleshoot sensors, analyzers, meters, and related instrumentation used in process analytics.

  • Perform installation, calibration, and repair of process analytical equipment, including instruments used for monitoring water treatment systems such as Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems, which commonly utilized in pharmaceutical and microelectronics industries.

  • Work effectively under stress and adapt to changing environments and urgent service requirements.

  • Operate confidently in harsh working conditions such as hot, humid environments, working at heights, and confined or space-constrained areas.

  • Utilize a strong understanding of analog and digital instrumentation to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.

    • Proven experience in servicing sensors and analyzers such as pH sensors, conductivity meters, dissolved oxygen analyzers, turbidity sensors, TOC analyzers and similar instrumentation.

    • Ability to work under stress and manage time effectively.

    • Comfortable working in challenging environments (hot, humid, heights, confined spaces).

    • Good knowledge of analog and digital instrumentation systems.
