Service Technician – MWD/LWD/Completions Tools

Summary
Field service technician maintaining and repairing MWD/LWD downhole tools, preparing kits for deployment, and troubleshooting on-site issues in oilfield operations.

Job Summary.
Service company background of MWD/LWD tool repair and maintenance to apply the latest standard levels of maintenance in different tools configurations.
- Tool Repair and maintenance referenced to the latest released manuals.
- Identify the required parts for different service levels with different tool configurations.
- Tool preparation for field with all related protocols and Certificates completion.
- Tool configuration, loading/unloading in customer locations.
- Negotiate the tool issues and findings with engineering when tools come back from job or serviced in shop and create , update , follow up a Jira ticket .
- Support Rigsite operations with MWD troubleshooting when required.
- Reimaging PC’c, Installing special standalone programs and software.
- Updating the firmware / software or tools.
- Tools Field training , installation, and commissioning .
- Keep a track of Inventory to smoothly manage the upcoming jobs.
- MWD kit preparation ready for job mobilisation.
- Working closely with other NOV personnel both within and outside the department, to maximize the delivery values to the customers.
- Prepare equipment for on time delivery to meet customer schedules.
- Soldering tasks for completions tools preparation.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering). Or equivalent.
- More than 5 years experience with service company background
- MWD/LWD Maintenance.
- Downhole memory Data analysis.
- Field Experience.
- English language.
- Flexability to travel.
