Service Technician - OCH
Job Descriptions:
You will be the on-site first responder for OTSAW’s AGV fleet at Outram Community Hospital (OCH).
Your mission:
➢ Monitor the operations of OTSAW Products
➢ Perform basic housekeeping and routine checks of OTSAW Products
➢ Provide the first response to any technical issues encountered by OTSAW Product
➢ Assist in attending to Tier 1 - Operations related issues via remote or on-site support
➢ Escalate higher level issue to superior for immediate advice and action whenever needed
➢ Prepare the Service Reports, Maintenance Report and other Operations related documents as needed
➢ Execute ad hoc tasks on behalf of the Robotics Operations Team as needed
Work Schedule:
➢ Shift 1: 5:45AM – 2:45PM
➢ Shift 2: 12:00PM – 9:00PM
➢ Pattern: 5 days’ work, 1 Off Day, 1 Rest Day, rotating weekly between Morning/Afternoon shifts
➢ Coverage: Weekends & Public Holidays included
➢ OT: Required for operational emergencies
Skillsets:
➢ Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields
➢ 1-3 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or hands-on operational role
➢ Willing to learn or familiar with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided
Vehicles (AGV) system
➢ Technical aptitude in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting
➢ Basic IT troubleshooting skills (Window OS, network connectivity, TCMS client navigation)
➢ Familiarity in using computers and basic applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
➢ Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
➢ Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and end users
Additional Requirement:
➢ Physically fit to perform tasks involving lifting of heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
➢ Willing to travel locally in a short notice
➢ Comfortable to work in a shifting schedule
➢ Comfortable to work overtime as needed
➢ Willing to be deployed overseas as needed
