Service Technician | OTR -STM 160

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to on-site and field service calls for mining and off-the-road (OTR) equipment.
• Mount, dismount, repair, and service large OTR and industrial tires.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and equipment for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and fleet inspections on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and complete necessary repairs safely and efficiently.
• Operate service trucks and specialized equipment in rugged, off-road environments.
• Maintain tools, service vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all MSHA/DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding service needs and timelines.
• Assist with shop or warehouse duties when needed.

Skills / Education / Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred).
• Experience with OTR, mining, or heavy-duty tires preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and handle large tires (50–300+ lbs.) with mechanical assistance.
• Ability to work in extreme environments, including outdoor and mine site conditions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
