SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Mechanical Field Service Technician, you will be working in a demanding role as a direct representative of our company performing service, installation, upgrades, and precision alignment of Sawmill and Planer mill equipment for customers on-site in a professional environment.
Duties
· Travel and book travel arrangements
· Travel internationally if needed
· Timely and professional response to customer, supervisor, and co worker calls and emails
· Troubleshooting of sawmill equipment
· Perform routine maintenance and millwright duties, repairs, and technical advice
· Perform and oversee precision alignment of equipment
· Fill out reports, expenses, and time tickets in a timely manner
· Ability to work irregular hours on a rotating shift
· Communicate professionally with customers, engineers, and supervisors to insure all requirements are completed
· Perform training to customers and trainees in professional manner
· Installing equipment and start up as per blueprint requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $26.00 - $50.00 per hour
