Service Technician - Roofing

Job Summary

Long Home is seeking an experienced Service Technician to provide excellent service by inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing damaged or defective home improvement products. This role involves visiting customers’ homes, completing repairs, documenting service work, and ensuring all jobs meet company quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace home exterior products

• Take accurate measurements and perform inspections as needed.

• Provide professional, high-quality service to customers.

• Document service visits, repairs, and follow-up steps using company software.

• Identify opportunities to generate new business leads and request customer reviews.

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and service procedures.

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and keep the company service vehicle in good condition.

• Complete required training and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform repairs efficiently.

• Comfortable learning and using computer software.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to customer satisfaction.
