Summary
On-site technician installs, maintains, and repairs dental equipment at clinics in Singapore, traveling to customer sites during standard business hours.
Location: Ang Mo Kio
Salary: S$2,800 - S$3,500 per month (commensurate with experience)
Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon to Fri)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Service Technician / Service Engineer to join their service team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting dental equipment at customer sites while providing excellent technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test dental equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of dental equipment.
- Perform pre-installation site surveys for new and existing clinics.
- Diagnose equipment issues and carry out troubleshooting.
- Provide professional technical support and basic operational training to customers.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Update service job status and report progress to the Service Manager.
- Perform other service-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Able to read and understand installation manuals, electrical schematics, and circuit diagrams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems will be an advantage.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
- Willing to participate in standby duty after confirmation.
