What You'll Do

As a Service Technician in our Construction Equipment shop in Pittston, PA, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and reliably. You'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a diverse fleet of specialized equipment, including woodchippers, asphalt pavers, trailers, excavators, grinders, dumpers and more all while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. In this role, you will:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Operate and test equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
  • Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify mechanical issues.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with coworkers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and works well both independently and as part of a team.


Successful candidates will have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and service documentation.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and precision measuring tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple repair priorities in a fast-paced environment.
