SurfacePrep is seeking a Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial finishing equipment throughout the Northeast. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work, independent problem-solving, and building strong customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Install industrial finishing equipment, including:
- Paint and powder coating booths
- Industrial ovens
- Ducting and ventilation systems
- Pumps, spray systems, and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, airflow, and pump-related issues.
- Work directly with customers to help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow company and customer safety procedures and maintain a professional presence on-site.
- Partner with internal teams to support equipment installations, projects, and service needs.
