What You'll Do
As a Service Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of construction and rental equipment, ensuring every machine leaves our shop ready to perform safely and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on diesel-powered equipment.
- Repair, rebuild, and replace engines, fuel systems, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, final drives, electrical components, and related systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment check-in procedures.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment is customer-ready.
- Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, work orders, parts usage, and labor hours.
- Utilize manufacturer service software and diagnostic tools.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and company repair standards to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing professional, dependable service.
- Work closely with teammates to keep equipment repaired efficiently and minimize customer downtime.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
