Service Technician

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused professional to join our team in a hands-on service role. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality work, troubleshooting issues efficiently, and ensuring equipment or systems are operating safely and effectively. Pay

$33.80 hourly, Flag Rate based on experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment, systems, or machinery as assigned.
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and document completed work accurately.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or technical issues using approved procedures and tools.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates clearly with customers and team members.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, parts, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Track inventory, request needed parts, and support efficient workflow.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and other required documentation.
• Support additional operational tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
• Experience in a service, maintenance, repair, or field support role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and follow established repair procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills for completing digital records, service tickets, or communication.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment or parts as required by the role.
• Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on service needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, or power tools in a technical setting.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and service documentation.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Industry-specific certifications or training relevant to the equipment or systems being serviced.
