Service Technician

Summary: The Field Service Technician works with our clientele to educate & resolve warranty claims on WSC manufactured goods. It is the responsibility of the Field Service Technician to maintain positive / profitable relations with the customer while achieving a resolution to the issues at hand.

Duties to include, (but not limited to):
•
Provide product training / education to internal/external customers which includes consumers.
•
Perform inspections as needed to determine if issues are covered by warranty and what replacement product
is required to complete the job.
•
Schedule and perform field service work with little direct supervision, installing jambs, replacing doors, replacing glass, replacing cladding, replacing small amounts of siding, and other small amounts of siding components, etc.
•
Advise internal personnel, contractors, builders and home owners on proper way to correct non-warranty related issues.
•
Read and electronically complete all service paperwork involved in completing service, including inspection report so service representatives can make warranty determination/decisions.
