Service Transition Lead

Salary: £33,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Transition Lead or in a similar role within large-scale ERP/HCM programs.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management (ITIL) and service transition disciplines.
  • Proven ability to establish and embed support models for Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS coexistence.
  • Experience working with system integrators, preferably Oracle, and coordinating across business and IT teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and their business criticality.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification.
  • Familiarity with cloud operations, SaaS service models, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the transition of services for a major Oracle HCM Cloud implementation covering Core HR and Payroll modules.
  • Ensure new Cloud services are transitioned seamlessly into steady-state support.
  • Maintain coexistence with the existing Oracle E-Business Suite on-premise ERP modules.
  • Establish and embed support models for Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS coexistence.
  • Coordinate across business and IT teams to support the transition.
  • Work with system integrators and vendors to deliver the service transition effectively.

We are recruiting for a Service Transition Lead on a contract running until March 2027, operating inside IR35. The role is hybrid based in Reading, with two days a week onsite. This position supports a major Oracle HCM Cloud implementation for Core HR and Payroll, alongside coexistence with our existing Oracle E-Business Suite on-premise ERP environment. We offer a contract rate of £625 to £648 per day.
