ServiceNow Architect
Role Overview
The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and governing scalable, secure and high‑performance ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules with a strong emphasis on (ITSM) and its integration with enterprise platforms such as CSM, ITOM/ITAM, HRSD, SPM and other ServiceNow workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, including CSM, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, FSM, and Integrations Hub.
- Design scalable, reusable architectures that support complex enterprise use cases and high transaction volumes.
- Define data models, workflow strategies, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders on platform capabilities, limitations, and optimization strategies.
- Support pre‑sales activities by contributing to solution design, architecture diagrams, effort estimations, and client presentations.
Governance & Platform Best Practices
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow architectural standards, performance guidelines, and security best practices.
- Review and approve technical designs, customizations, and integrations across projects.
- Establish governance models to manage technical debt, upgrades, and ongoing enhancements.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, consultants, and implementation teams.
- Conduct design reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, new features, and industry trends, applying innovations where appropriate.
Documentation & Delivery Support
- Create and maintain architecture documents, design specifications, and solution blueprints.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and post‑go‑live optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive hands‑on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including multi‑module implementations.
- Deep understanding of workflows, scripting, integrations (REST/SOAP), and platform customization.
- Experience designing solutions with performance, scalability, and security in mind.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS, etc.
- Familiarity with SOAP/REST and HTML/CSS.
- Experience working in global or distributed teams.
- Experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap in web portal development.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
