Role Overview
Translates business need into ServiceNow requirements and owns the backlog's definition of "why". One generic profile and skillset covers all six squads - where a squad needs extra domain literacy (ITOM's CMDB/CSDM, SAM's licensing), that's a desirable add-on to this same JD, not a separate named specialist role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements elicitation and process mapping with business stakeholders
  
• Author clear, testable acceptance criteria for backlog items
  
• Run stakeholder workshops and requirements walkthroughs
  
• Support UAT planning and sign-off coordination
  
• Maintain traceability between business requirement, build and test evidence
  
• Define use cases with a named business owner, success measures and acceptance criteria
  
• Support benefits tracking and baseline measurement for delivered changes
  
• Act as the day-to-day link between the squad and its business stakeholders
  Must-Have Skills
  
• 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst
  
• Candidate should have exp in ServiceNow implementation of any of the module
  
• Strong ServiceNow experience
  
• Requirements gathering and business analysis
  
• Business analysis certification or equivalent demonstrable experience
  
• Process mapping skills (BPMN or similar)
  
• Strong stakeholder workshop facilitation
  
• Ability to write clear, testable acceptance criteria
  
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment
  
• Good written communication - this role produces requirements other people build against
  
  Good-to-Have Skills
  
• ServiceNow requirements experience specifically
  
• Working CMDB/CSDM literacy - useful for ITOM squad placement
  
• Software licensing and contract literacy - useful for SAM squad placement
  
• Experience defining AI or automation use cases with clear business owner, success
