Servicenow Consultant

We are seeking a ServiceNow SPM Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions that align business strategy with execution. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end portfolio, demand, resource, and financial management capabilities while ensuring platform scalability, governance, and performance.

1. SPM Solution Development & Configuration

• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow SPM solutions across:
  • Demand Management
  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Resource Management
  • Financial Planning (ITFM)
  • Strategic Planning / Goals Framework
• Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations
• Build custom applications and extend OOTB SPM capabilities [jobs.jobvite.com]

2. Portfolio & Demand Lifecycle Enablement

• Implement end-to-end Demand → Project → Resource → Financial lifecycle
• Configure demand intake, scoring models, approvals, and governance workflows
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and roadmap planning

3. Integration & Enterprise Architecture

• Design and develop integrations with:
  • Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Financial systems / ERP
  • ITSM / HRSD modules
• Use REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID server for integrations
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and CSDM

4. Resource & Financial Optimization

• Develop solutions for:
  • Capacity planning and resource allocation
  • Budget tracking and cost planning
  • Benefits realization and ROI tracking
• Enable portfolio-level resource and investment visibility

5. Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support

• Build dashboards, reports, and executive workspaces for:
  • Portfolio health
  • Financial tracking
  • Resource utilization

6. Development Governance & Best Practices

• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
• Follow ServiceNow best practices (OOTB-first, upgrade-safe design)
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization

7. Stakeholder Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Partner with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies (PI planning, sprint delivery)
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience (5–8+ years)
• Deep expertise in SPM / ITBM modules:
  • Demand, PPM, Resource, Financials, APM
• Proficiency in:
  • JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer
  • REST/SOAP integrations, Integration Hub
• Experience with UI Builder, Service Portal
