ServiceNow Developer (ITOM / ITAM)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM), particularly Discovery and Service Mapping, as well as exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support ServiceNow ITOM Discovery activities.
• Design, develop and implement ITOM solutions, including Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Configure and support ITAM modules, including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery and Asset Management modules.
• Develop and customize workflows, business rules, scripts and automation within ServiceNow.
• Create and maintain custom Discovery patterns where required.
• Troubleshoot Discovery, CMDB and infrastructure integration issues.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external applications and systems through APIs and web services.
• Ensure solutions follow ITIL practices, security requirements and organisational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
• More than 6 years of hands-on ServiceNow ITOM experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• Good knowledge of Service Mapping, CMDB and ITAM.
• Experience with SAM and HAM is advantageous.
• Experience creating or modifying Discovery patterns.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or web services.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
