Requires 5+ years IT experience and ServiceNow CAD/CSA certifications.

We’re looking for a hands-on ServiceNow specialist to develop, maintain and improve a ServiceNow platform. You’ll work closely with a ServiceNow Architect and Administrator, as well as teams responsible for security and business systems.

What you’ll do

  • Build and configure ServiceNow functionality, including ITSM workflows and custom solutions.

  • Assess new requirements, recommend approaches, write code, and test changes before release.

  • Review applications and code to protect platform stability and security.

  • Maintain the ServiceNow instance, manage upgrades and patches, tune performance, and resolve incidents.

  • Support integrations with other systems and maintain the MariaDB services used by the platform.

  • Contribute to solution design, project planning, risk management and disaster recovery.

  • Keep technical documentation, operating procedures, user guides and knowledge articles current.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience administering, configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions. Experience with an on-premises instance is an advantage.

  • Practical knowledge of the ServiceNow product portfolio, IT service management and solution design.

  • Experience gathering requirements, analysing needs and coordinating technical work.

  • Familiarity with integrations such as REST and web services, SSO and LDAP, along with IT security practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to take ownership and work independently.

  • English at B2 level or above and education at level 4 or equivalent.

Required certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

An internationally recognised equivalent certification may be considered for either requirement, subject to the contracting authority’s approval.
