ServiceNow Developer
Overview
TSGi is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a large-scale federal travel and expense modernization initiative serving civilian government agencies. This role will assist in the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to support mission-critical business processes and enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to platform enhancements, workflow automation, and custom solutions while working closely with team members to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow capabilities.
Candidates local to Herndon, VA are preferred and will be expected to work onsite four (4) days per week. Fully remote candidates will also be considered; however, West Coast candidates will not be considered.
Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Configure and develop ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and platform enhancements.
- Develop and maintain catalog items, Service Portal components, and client/server-side scripts.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of platform improvements.
- Assist with system integrations and customizations to meet business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, user story refinement, and solution implementation activities.
- Follow established coding standards, deployment procedures, and platform best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development or configuration experience.
- Experience with forms configuration, UI Policies, client scripting, and server-side scripting.
- Knowledge of Service Catalog and Service Portal development.
- Experience with update sets, testing, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and platform administration.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Federal government experience is a plus.

Compensation:
- W2 Hourly rate starts at $50. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
