About the Role
Automate the digital backbone of our IT ecosystem! We are looking for a ServiceNow DevOps Engineer to join our Monitoring and Observability Design Team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development, operations, and ITOM by building automated event management pipelines, AIOps workflows, and system integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering leads to drive platform reliability and continuous automation across modern multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
ITOM & Event Automation: Lead the engineering, integration, and automation of event streams into ServiceNow ITOM to enable automated incident response and proactive AIOps capabilities.
Integrations & Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain robust API integrations connecting cloud platforms, APM tools, and telemetry systems to the primary ITOM engine.
Cross-Functional Engineering: Partner with domain leads across cloud infrastructure, function applications, and network teams to implement unified observability standards.
Multi-Cloud Operations: Develop and deploy automated monitoring patterns for applications hosted on SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
Continuous Improvement: Spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives, drive platform upgrades, and build reusable automation scripts to optimize day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
ServiceNow ITOM Mastery: Deep experience with alert integrations into ServiceNow ITOM Event Management and practical AIOps implementation.
Engineering Background: Proven experience in IT monitoring, SRE, or DevOps roles focused on enterprise observability and automated workflows.
Scripting & Automation: Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#/.NET, or SQL, alongside configuration tools like Ansible.
Cloud & Telemetry: Experience working with Azure Log Analytics, KQL queries, synthetic monitoring, and cloud-native telemetry pipelines.
System Knowledge: Solid understanding of Application Performance Management (APM), network fundamentals (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI), and ITSM frameworks.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
