Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable ServiceNow Developer to provide expert-level platform development, administration, and sustainment support for the Enterprise Level Information Technology Expertise (ELITE) contract in Stuttgart, Germany. This role demands deep technical expertise across ServiceNow modules, strong understanding of DoD ITSM environments, and the ability to translate mission requirements into secure, scalable ServiceNow solutions supporting enterprise IT operations.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the administration, enhancement, and sustainment of the ServiceNow platform supporting the ACJ6 mission

Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance, ensuring platform reliability, security compliance, and continuous availability

Drive development across multiple ServiceNow modules, delivering new capabilities, integrations, and workflow automations

Perform advanced administration, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow environments, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
-
Develop custom applications, workflows, flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations in accordance with DoD frameworks and security standards
-
Maintain and optimize IT Service Management, Configuration Management Database, Change Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Service Catalog modules
-
Manage platform security including access control lists, roles, data policies, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements
-
Lead testing, validation, and deployment activities for new releases, patches, and enhancements
-
Serve as a senior technical advisor to government stakeholders, translating mission needs into scalable technical solutions

Guide configuration management, documentation, and governance practices to maintain a secure and auditable environment

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate with onsite subject matter experts to ensure rapid resolution
-
Contribute to long-term modernization strategies, platform roadmaps, and enterprise architecture alignment

Interface directly with government customers to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver technical briefings

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and support teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and DoD policies
Certification Requirements:

CompTIA Security+

ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification or higher

ITIL v4 Foundations
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience in an enterprise environment

Demonstrated experience developing and supporting ServiceNow within a DoD or federal government environment
-
Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting and development including JavaScript, Flow Designer, REST and SOAP integrations

Experience supporting IT Service Management processes in accordance with ITIL best practices
-
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, security controls, and audit requirements
-
Ability to work independently in a mission-critical, high-tempo environment while collaborating with distributed teams
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Desired:

Experience with ITOM, Discovery, CMDB modeling, or integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server).

Experience with the full suite of the Strategic Portfolio Management module and best practices within.

Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, RMF, STIGs, or secure development practices.

Experience with migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
