ServiceNow IRM -Platform Engineer
Summary
The ServiceNow IRM Platform Engineer will manage and support ServiceNow environments within a regulated banking context, focusing on IRM/GRC modules, platform health, and system integrations. The role involves performing upgrades, troubleshooting performance issues, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IRM & Platform Engineer to support and manage enterprise
ServiceNow environments within a regulated banking environment. The role combines IRM/GRC expertise with
hands-on platform engineering and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage ServiceNow instance health, availability, performance, and capacity.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, hotfixes, plugin activations, and instance clones.
• Monitor and troubleshoot slow transactions, queries, logs, scheduled jobs, integrations, MID Servers, ECC
queues, and platform issues.
• Support ServiceNow IRM/GRC, including Risks, Controls, Testing, Issues, Policies, and compliance
processes.
• Manage platform security, roles, ACLs, integrations, and environment configurations.
• Support production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with ServiceNow Support.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe.
• Support CMDB/CSDM alignment and platform governance.
• Follow banking change management, audit, security, risk, and regulatory controls.
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow Platform Administration/Engineering experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow IRM/GRC.
• Strong experience with upgrades, patches, plugins, clones, and performance troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, REST APIs, ACLs, MID Servers,
CMDB/CSDM, and integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated enterprise environment preferred.
Preferred Certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and relevant IRM/GRC certifications
