ServiceNow ITOM SME (Event Management)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM SME specializing in Event Management, with strong hands-on expertise in event processing, alert management, infrastructure monitoring, and ServiceNow integrations.

Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.

Strong knowledge of:

Event Management and Alert Management Discovery and Service Mapping CMDB Health Log Analytics Operational Intelligence Hands-on experience configuring:

Experience integrating third-party monitoring and observability tools with ServiceNow. Strong understanding of event lifecycle, alert lifecycle, and incident creation workflows. Hands-on experience with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.

Good knowledge of JavaScript and Glide APIs. Experience with Script Includes, Business Rules, and Client Scripts. Hands-on experience with Flow Designer. Ability to troubleshoot complex Event Management and infrastructure monitoring issues. Experience with ServiceNow platform administration, upgrades, and patching.

Design, configure, and manage ServiceNow ITOM Event Management solutions. Configure event processing rules, alert correlation, and automated remediation workflows. Integrate third-party monitoring and observability platforms. Manage event-to-alert and alert-to-incident workflows. Troubleshoot complex ITOM issues and ensure smooth platform operations. Support MID Server configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to improve monitoring and event management processes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
