Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform
  • Act as a hands-on technical lead on complex items (e.g., scripting, configuration, workflows, integrations), ensuring robust, scalable, and secure implementations aligned to best practices
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical designs and delivery plans
  • Maintain appropriate technical documentation (solution designs, integrations, configurations, and operational runbooks)
  • Continuously improve engineering standards (code quality, testing, release practices) and stay current with platform capabilities and patterns
  • Lead and support assigned employees through regular 1:1s, coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Drive career progression and growth by creating development plans, identifying training needs, and enabling learning opportunities
  • Contribute to team health and engagement (onboarding support, recognition, wellbeing), and act as escalation point for people topics.

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology, engineering, science, mathematics, or relevant professional experience.

  • Professional Experience: 6+ years’ hands-on ServiceNow development experience delivering complex, production-grade solutions.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting/configuration patterns (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer/Workflows, UI Builder).
  • Proven experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server) and data management (import sets, transform maps), with a focus on security and performance.
  • Exposure to one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, HAM/SAM, ITOM) and understanding of platform architecture and upgrade/release practices.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS) are a strong advantage.
  • Prior people management experience with evidence of coaching, feedback, and performance management through regular 1:1s.
  • Ability to support career progression via development plans, training enablement, and mentoring across mixed seniority and disciplines.
  • Strong stakeholder communication in English, collaborative mindset, and ability to balance hands-on delivery with people responsibilities.
  • Soft Skills: Proactive, customer-centric approach; continuous improvement mindset; comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong communication in English
