Our Services Architect, Asset Solutions is the primary Professional Services team member responsible for ensuring Accruent prospects and customers are provided with the best recommendations and proposals to implement Accruent’s Asset Solutions software to achieve their organizational goals. The Services Architect must possess deep functional and technical knowledge of at least one Asset Solutions suite product (Maintenance Connection, TMS, Meridian, RedEye, VxField), be willing to learn a second or third, and be an expert in implementation methodology and services delivery approach. They must be versed in the applicable industries and have a deep understanding of the needs of the prospects/customers in their assigned product lines. This is a customer-facing role requiring superior communication and presentation skills to connect with a variety of customer stakeholders and listen critically to identify business needs and incorporate those needs into the implementation design. The Services Architect will be highly responsive and exceptional at collaborating with a variety of stakeholders from prospects or customers, Commercial Sales, Value Realization, Legal, Operations, Business Systems, and Professional Services Delivery to drive the sale to completion and align needs of all stakeholders.
This role reports to the Director, Services Sales.

- You will partner with Commercial Sales to expedite the sale of solutions, while maintaining the integrity of the delivery of the solution.
- You will partner with Professional Services Delivery leaders to design and refine implementation and expansion offerings for a customer to succeed using the Accruent Aset Solution software suite.
- You will manage, interpret, and document customer requirements as Statements of Work and proposals, participating in review of discovery information, RFPs, and Implementation Planning Meetings with interested customers.
- You will present our Services philosophy, methodology, and best practices to new customers during the pre-sales phase of the customer journey.
- You will quickly develop strong, positive relationships with prospects and customers by understanding their needs and business objectives, fulfilling the role of trusted advisor through a proven ability to convey delivery details while leveraging the Accruent team to identify and develop strategic opportunities.
- You will continually refine the process to achieve optimal internal and external stakeholder experience.
- You will travel to visit customers and partners and participate in tradeshows/conferences up to 25% of the time.
- You will recommend PS and software product additions and enhancements based on customer feedback and competitive analysis.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience with implementing software technology.
- Minimum of 4 years working with customers in project management, program management, or professional services capacity.
- Strong operational management, project management and communication/presentation skills required
- Experience with implementing large scale software solutions including all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills to lead collaboration across functions throughout the organization
- A passion for winning deals and expediting the sales process.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced knowledge of one Aset Solutions product line and ability to learn a second
- Advanced knowledge of the value of all PS offerings: Implementation, Managed Services, expansions, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Working knowledge of Certinia (formerly Financial Force)
- Work schedule must be adjusted to meet the needs of the time zones of prospects, customers, and peers.
