Job Title: Payroll Associate

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

About the Role

The Payroll Associate role is a fast‑paced and challenging position that requires the ability to think quickly, react efficiently, and serve clients with the highest level of dedication. This role is responsible for the accurate processing and recording of client payrolls while delivering expert customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage multiple client payrolls
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulations
• Understand and apply proper payroll taxation
• Process wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies accurately
• Complete timely and accurate quarter‑end and year‑end payroll reporting
• Prepare and deliver ad hoc payroll reports to clients
• Work with clients across multiple payroll environments, including time and attendance, payroll processing, and payroll reporting
• Resolve client questions related to payroll and payroll systems
• Manage client payroll-related projects
• Answer and respond to client calls and inquiries
• Coordinate payroll activities from start to finish with clients
• Deliver the highest level of customer service, including follow‑up, follow‑through, and accountability
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong phone presence with excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, problem‑solving, and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail
