Join us as a Settlement Analyst Trainee

Euronext Securities Porto is improving and enhancing its services, particularly regarding the Settlement Systems. We are seeking a Settlement Trainee to support the business operations team with daily tasks, especially those related to the settlement team. In addition, you will contribute to the development and implementation of several ongoing activities, projects and initiatives, such as TARGET2-Securities (T2S) Releases, Euronext CSDs Convergence and European Expansion.

Key Accountabilities

As a Settlement Trainee you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the business operations team with daily tasks, including monitoring settlement systems and performing activities related to settlement discipline (such as settlement fails and penalties).
  • Conducting tests on Euronext Securities Porto systems and updating documentation as required.
  • Performing static data setup for securities and cash accounts.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of ongoing activities, projects and initiatives, including T2S Releases, Euronext CSDs Convergence and European Expansion.
  • Providing support to Euronext Securities Porto participants.
  • Supporting other business operational areas as needed.

Profile and Skills

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Management, Economics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and applicable legislation.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Responsible, organized and accurate, with strong communication skills.
  • Team player with a customer-focused and task-oriented approach.
  • Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
