Settlements and Accounting Specialist
We are currently supporting a leading investment organisation in Singapore in the search for an exceptional Settlements & Accounting Specialist.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being close to the detail — someone who takes ownership, understands the full trade lifecycle and can confidently move between settlements, cash & FX, reconciliations, accounting and reporting.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Capital and Finance, with real responsibility for making sure transactions are managed accurately and efficiently from trade through to settlement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing daily cash, trade and FX activities, settlements and reconciliations
- Supporting trade settlement with brokers and custodians
- Preparing portfolio, P&L and financial reporting
- Supporting monthly accounts, financial statements and audits
- Managing tax compliance, filings and fee allocations across jurisdictions
- Supporting KYC and onboarding of brokers, custodians and counterparties
- Reviewing payments, expenses, VAT and GST returns
- Working on automation and process-improvement initiatives across back-office operations
- Maintaining processes, documentation and the Capital Markets playbook
- Supporting proxy voting, AGM submissions and other finance/operational activities
What we’re looking for:
You’ll ideally have a degree in Finance, Accounting or arelated field, with CA/CPA being an advantage.
More importantly, you’ll bring solid experience with public and/or private markets, trade settlements, custodians, brokers and fund administrators, together with strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.

Someone who can work independently, is comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and has the judgement to know when to challenge, when to act and when to exercise restraint.
