We're looking for skilled and passionate Sewing Specialists to join our production team in Amsterdam. If you love working with your hands, take pride in high-quality stitching, and enjoy being part of a team bringing ambitious creative projects to life—we want to hear from you.
As a Sewing Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of our production team, focusing on the hands-on assembly of large, intricate fabric structures. You’ll collaborate closely with other sewing team members and report directly to our Sewing Leads, ensuring every piece meets our high standards of quality and precision.
Your main responsibilities:
Sew large-scale, custom-designed fabric patterns with accuracy and consistency
Operate and care for a variety of industrial sewing machines
Work with technical fabrics, specialty textiles, and printed materials
Follow guidance and instructions from Sewing Leads and project documentation
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary production team to meet project deadlines
Support and coordinate with freelance seamsters/seamstresses during high-volume periods
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Who We’re Looking For?
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or professional sewing, or completion of certified training
Comfortable using industrial sewing machines and basic maintenance
A team player who communicates clearly and works well in a collaborative environment
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and craftsmanship
Able to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities on fast-paced projects
Enthusiastic about working in a creative, international studio environment
