Sharepoint Administrator

Role Purpose

Operate and support enterprise SharePoint platforms (self-hosted in GCC), ensuring stability, performance, and security of collaboration and content management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, administer, and support SharePoint (self-hosted) environments, for SharePoint Subscription Edition
• Manage on-premises SharePoint farms, service applications, web applications, site collections, and content databases
• Administer SharePoint security, permissions, and authentication configurations
• Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration changes for SharePoint platforms
• Diagnose and resolve SharePoint incidents, performance issues, and service outages
• Support hosting infrastructure and dependencies related to SharePoint, including SQL Server, smtp and IIS
• Provide cross-support for other enterprise hosting services when required
• SSL certificate handling
• Backup day-to-day operation essentials when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior hands-on experience administering SharePoint (self-hosted) platforms (Subscription Edition)
• Strong understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, service applications, and security models
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale on-prem collaboration platforms
