Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Engineer

Contract (12 Months, Highly Extendable)

Shape the digital backbone of business applications.

You'll lead a team building and maintaining enterprise applications on Microsoft's Power Platform and SharePoint Online with real exposure to AI-driven automation through Copilot Studio.

The Role

You'll lead a team responsible for both the day-to-day reliability and future direction of business applications built on Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online (SPFx), and Copilot Studio. This is a role for someone who's equally comfortable managing SLAs and stakeholders as they are architecting scalable, AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do

• Keep the lights on, brilliantly — Own incident, problem, and service request management, consistently meeting SLA targets
• Architect for scale — Design, build, and maintain custom forms and workflow solutions across SharePoint Online, M365, and Power Platform, including SPFx and SharePoint Online PowerShell scripting
• Bring AI into the fold — Leverage Copilot Studio to build intelligent, AI-assisted workflows and conversational experiences
• Drive continuous improvement — Partner with business stakeholders to assess existing applications and recommend smarter technical and functional processes
• Champion quality — Lead rigorous testing (unit, SIT, UAT) to ensure every solution is rock-solid before it ships
• Own the full lifecycle — Manage deployments, monitor performance on Azure, and stay ahead of the latest Power Platform releases
• Document what matters — Maintain clear solution designs and technical documentation that keep the team aligned and compliant

What You Bring

• 5+ years leading and managing teams on BAU operations and enhancements, with hands-on experience as a solution architect and stakeholder manager
• Hands-on SPFx development — building custom, production-grade SharePoint solutions
• Genuine depth in Power Platform — not just surface-level Power Apps/Power Automate exposure, but real end-to-end solution ownership
• Working experience with Copilot Studio — building AI-assisted workflows or conversational solutions
• Working knowledge of Azure — integrations, app services, or AI services
• 5+ years of web development experience across ASP.NET (C#/MVC), React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful/JSON APIs
• 5+ years of backend development with .NET C# (experience with .NET 6/8 a strong plus)
• 5+ years architecting, administering, deploying, and migrating M365 SharePoint Online environments
• Proven experience building custom applications using Visual Studio, C#, and PowerShell — including Event Receivers, Timer Jobs, and Master Pages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bonus points for experience with AvePoint
