SharePoint Architect

  • Evaluation of emerging Microsoft technologies and recommendation of improvements to the collaboration and digital workplace ecosystem
  • Driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, platform stability, and user experience
  • Service ownership for one or more collaboration applications and services
  • Support of platform lifecycle management activities including upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, performance optimization, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Provision of incident management, problem resolution, and service fulfillment activities for collaboration platforms
  • Acting as the highest technical escalation point for complex SharePoint and integration-related issues
  • Collaboration with infrastructure teams, security teams, solution architects, Microsoft, and external vendors to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Performance of testing, technical documentation, and knowledge management activities
  • Mentoring and support of team members by sharing technical knowledge, standards, and best practices
  • University degree within IT or similar
  • 6 years or more of experience in MS-SharePoint
  • Strong experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019) architecture, administration, governance, and migration methodologies
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for SharePoint administration, automation, migration, deployment, governance, monitoring, and operational management
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, JavaScript and modern web technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Services, Azure Functions and enterprise application interfaces
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity management, and security best practices
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL certificates, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures
  • Experience with DevOps practices and application lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, document management, records management, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Proven ability to define technical standards, architecture roadmaps, governance models, and long-term platform strategies
  • Fluent English
  • Experienced working in an international, virtual team
  • Confidence in moderating meetings, workshops and trainings in English language
  • Strong risk awareness and decision-making capabilities balancing business needs, security, and operational requirements
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across functional teams
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking with the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
