As a SharePoint Online Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will serve as a critical temporary backfill to support the Content Management Product Owner, who is currently dedicated to the MOVE programme.

You will act as a hands-on technical expert in SharePoint Online and OneDrive, ensuring smooth daily operations and the rapid implementation of new positioning strategies. You will support software and service delivery by setting focus, removing technical impediments, and creating efficiencies in daily operations.

Description of the area

The Digital Workplace, Platforms & Integrations team manages the overarching Everyday AI and Content Management ecosystem. Content Management simplifies how teams store, organize, and access information across the organization. It brings together a variety of platforms and tools under a unified, governed frameworkβ€”ensuring content is easy to find, secure, and compliant. With streamlined workflows and smart integrations, it supports collaboration, boosts productivity, and helps teams manage their documents with confidence and clarity.

Job responsibilities:

● SharePoint Online (SPO) Support & Implementation

β—‹ Provide dedicated, hands-on technical expertise and support for Microsoft SharePoint Online and OneDrive environments.

β—‹ Work quickly and agilely on new platform positioning, ensuring rapid and accurate technical implementation.

β—‹ Collaborate with the Product Owner and specialized product team members overseeing MS365 OneDrive/SPO, 1SharePoint, and Sharepoint Platforms to ensure cohesive delivery.

● Operations & Incident Management

β—‹ Actively support and supervise Infosys daily operations and ticket resolutions.

β—‹ Act as the primary technical escalation point to remove roadblocks for support tickets, ensuring smooth daily operations.

β—‹ Maintain a sustainable pace of service delivery while managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular updates on operational progress.

Experience:

● Proven track record as a hands-on technical expert in Microsoft SharePoint Online and OneDrive.

● Direct experience and exposure to the roles, responsibilities, and topics within Digital Workplace Content Management.

● Experience overseeing, supporting, or partnering with managed service providers for IT ticketing and daily operations.

Education:

● Bachelor or advanced degree.

● Business or IT specification.

Technical & business skills:

● Deep technical understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, and implementation methodologies.

● Ability to rapidly deploy new positioning and features within MS365 environments.

● Strong operational management skills, specifically in supervising IT tickets, resolving daily ops issues, and creating clarity about outcomes.

● Exhibits a lean & agile mindset.

Interpersonal & Leadership skills:

● Demonstrates an ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and work rapidly under pressure.

● Enterprise mindset that can break down silos, focusing on delivery through collaboration across organizational boundaries.
