SharePoint Server Administrator (On-Premises)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Server Administrator to operate and support enterprise self-hosted SharePoint platforms. The successful candidate will maintain platform stability, performance and security while supporting collaboration and content management services. This position focuses on on-premises SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, not SharePoint Online administration alone.
Key responsibilities
Operate, administer and support self-hosted SharePoint Server Subscription Edition environments
Manage on-premises SharePoint farms, service applications, web applications, site collections and content databases
Administer SharePoint security, permissions and authentication configurations
Perform platform patching, upgrades and configuration changes
Diagnose and resolve SharePoint incidents, performance issues and service outages
Support hosting infrastructure and dependencies related to SharePoint, including SQL Server, SMTP and IIS
Handle SSL certificates and related platform configuration activities
Provide backup support for day-to-day operations of related enterprise hosting services when required
About you
Hands-on experience administering self-hosted SharePoint platforms, particularly SharePoint Server Subscription Edition
Strong understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, service applications and security models
Experience supporting enterprise-scale on-premises collaboration platforms
Knowledge of SharePoint permissions, authentication and configuration management
Exposure to SQL Server, IIS, SMTP, patching, upgrades and SSL certificate handling
Strong troubleshooting, documentation and operational support skills
