Job Description\:

This is an opportunity to influence SHE performance across a large and complex operational environment, supporting manufacturing, engineering and business teams at either our Warton or Samlesbury site. You'll play a key role in promoting a positive SHE culture, managing risk and ensuring high standards of compliance, whilst building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Core duties\:

• Provide competent SHE advice and support across operational and functional areas
• Lead and support SHE activities including audits, reviews, investigations and assurance activities
• Manage site compliance with relevant SHE standards, policies and legal requirements
• Support risk assessment activities and promote effective risk management principles
• Produce and analyse SHE performance data, reports and management information
• Coach, support and influence stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in SHE performance

Essential Skills\:

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience providing Safety, Health & Environmental advice within a business environment
• Good understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience supporting SHE management systems and compliance activities
• Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple priorities and projects
