Summary
Oversee workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance at a manufacturing site in Ho Chi Minh by enforcing regulations, conducting inspections, and training staff.
Job Purpose & Scope
To ensure employees and visitors comply to established SHE regulations,
To ensure sites comply to local and ROCKWOOL SHE regulations & guidelines. Take necessary actions as per established guidelines.
Plan & implement local & ROCKWOOL SHE requirement.
Key Result Areas
Development, implement and enforced local and ROCKWOOL requirements.
Inspection, advice, follow up and take necessary action.
Providing safety planning
Inspection Safety plan.
Control the employee to follow policy.
Advising and Training.
Investigation of any accident.
Analysis a data.
New ideas to improve SHE
Key Responsibilities & Job Content
Implement SHE programs and develops facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with local regulatory and Rock Wool requirements.
Participate in development of SHE program components: operational procedure, work instructions, training material, standards, etc.
Integrate Company and facility level SHE management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions.
Reduce liability within a facility and ensure all safety and environmental recommendations are completed and documented.
Compile process safety information for each covered process and keep readily accessible to process employees and management as well as updated on an annual basis.
Use a structured processes score card to measure and communicate safety/environmental performance with both leading results and indicators.
Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
Provide advice/recommendation/suggestion to the site manager in regard to SHE matters and act as a daily point of contact for all SHE issues.
Assists line and staff management in understanding SHE regulations and standards, including guidance on handling SHE compliance, inspections, and citations.
Provides advice and counsel to stakeholder and leads to incorporate environmental health and safety principles and concepts to prevent workplace, operational hazards and environmental impacts
Implements environmental, health and safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
Act as a resource and mentor to facility safety teams. Investigate all releases, injuries and near-misses.
Control and supervise with project/engineering owner for Contractor Safety Management for renovation, expansion projects.
Control the employee to follow policy, rule and command or safety strategies.
