Sheeter Operator

TITLE: 3rd Shift Machine Operator DEPT: sheets

HOURS: 9:00 p.m. -5:00 a.m.

Perform duties to operate the Sheeter machine to convert rolls of paper to sheets for optimal performance to insure best possible speed, quality, and production.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Inspect paper to insure readiness for machine.
2. Advise supervisor of any problems with defective paper that would slow down production.
3. Setup machine for various roll diameters and weights and sizes
4. Feed and web paper on machine.
5. Adjust machine for best possible finished product.
6. Trouble shoot for any problems in paper.
7. Trouble shoot the machine malfunction to maintain production and advise maintenance of any problems.
8. Observe machine to ensure quality production.
9. Unload and shrink wrap finished product prepare for wrapping station.
10. Follow Safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
