Job description:
1. Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Garment Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years practical hands-on experience working directly in apparel factories including:

o Pre-Production Execution:
 tech pack feasibility reviews with TD & factory sample teams.
 Risk assessment with TD & factory teams.
o Production Quality Troubleshooting:
 Analysed and resolved apparel production issues & quality defects during bulk production.
o Production training and line audits:
 Trained factory QC teams on defects prevention.
 Conducted production line audits to enforce quality standards.

2. Technical Skills

• Production Process:

o Good knowledge of cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, finishing processes and machinery limitations.
o Proficient in production process improvement and control.

• Pre-Production Expertise:

o Ability to validate tech packs for manufacturability, designing quality into the production process.
o Experience in setting QC & production process critical checkpoints for early defect detection.

• Risk Management:

o Strong analytical skills with a focus on preventive quality approach and root cause investigation.
o Proactively anticipates production risks and implements effective preventive measures before bulk orders.

3. Soft Skills

• Work with Merchandising team and factory to align production feasibility with customer requirements.
• Leadership: Influence factories to adopt preventive measures without compromising timelines.
• Collaboration: Bridging the gap between product development and bulk production quality.
• Adaptability: capable of working in fast paced environments with tight deadlines.

4. Language Proficiency

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese to:

o Communicate directly with factory teams.
o Write clear technical reports in both English and Chinese.
